People Brand House is searching for experienced talent to join a reputable entity in the Hospitality Industry
Responsibilities or duties
The HR & Administration Officer is responsible for the smooth running of the HR department and general office administration. This role manages the recruitment process, employee relations, compliance, payroll support, and ensures the office environment is efficient and well-maintained.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding).
- Maintain employee records and HR databases (HRIS).
- Administer payroll preparation by collecting timesheets and leave applications.
- Coordinate employee training and development programs.
- Assist in performance management processes and appraisals.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Oversee the daily operation of the office, including supply inventory and procurement of office supplies.
- Manage administrative staff (receptionists, drivers, cleaners).
- Coordinate internal and external events (meetings, conferences, team-building).
- Manage office security systems, company vehicles, and facility maintenance requests.
- Handle travel arrangements and accommodation for staff.
Qualifications or requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CHRP) is highly desirable.
Experience needed
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR and administrative role.
Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes)
Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
