Background
Africa Management Solutions Limited (AMSOL), a growing pan-African provider of HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Outsourcing, and Workforce Solutions, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Human Resource Business Partner to support business growth, client engagement, and service delivery in Uganda.
This opportunity is ideal for HR professionals who combine strong HR expertise with business development, client relationship management, and strategic workforce advisory capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
HR Advisory & Operations
- Support payroll processing and compliance requirements for client organizations
- Provide HR operational and administrative support
- Offer HR advisory services, including policy development and employee relations guidance
- Ensure compliance with Ugandan labor laws and HR best practices
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Conduct market research and identify workforce trends and client opportunities
- Promote AMSOL’s HR consulting, payroll, recruitment, outsourcing, and workforce solutions
- Develop partnerships and support market expansion initiatives
- Strengthen AMSOL’s presence within the Ugandan market
Client Relationship Management
- Support client onboarding and account management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction
- Support client engagement and retention initiatives
Strategic Support
- Provide insights on labor market trends and workforce challenges
- Support HR transformation, payroll, talent management, and outsourcing projects
- Contribute to country growth initiatives and business strategy execution
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR, HR consulting, business partnering, or managerial roles
- Strong knowledge of Ugandan labor laws, payroll administration, and HR best practices
- Proven business development and market engagement experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English and at least one widely spoken local language
- Access to a reliable laptop and internet connection
- Age between 25 and 45 years

- Managerial, advisory, or consulting experience
- Established professional network within Uganda’s corporate and business community
- Experience supporting multiple clients or managing HR services across different sectors
