JOB DETAILS:

Job purpose

To ensure that all Human Resources needs across the business are met. Coach and advice line management regarding people management and Human Resources matters. Align HR objectives with Country’s business objectives and initiate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance optimum performance from a HR perspective

Duties and responsibilities
1. Organizational Design & Development (OD&D): Contribute to the organizational transitions using best practice change management methodologies. Support leaders to deliver team organizational development and capability needs.
2. Talent Management & Career Development: Identify & Manage top talent, facilitate leadership development and succession planning.
3. Talent Acquisition: Support line management with defining recruitment & manpower needs across the business.
4. Change Management: Ensure successful implementation of business initiatives by supporting development and implementation of thoughtful change management programs.
5. People Development: Provide input to management regarding strategic development needs for the business by ensuring annual performance appraisals are carried out. Also, arising from these appraisals, where training needs are ascertained, arrange for the on/off the job training as appropriate.
6. Performance Management: Monitor the PM process to ensure a smooth flow of the cycle ie goal setting, mid & end year reviews and feedback. Also, arising from the appraisals, collate the train needs to actualize the training.
7. Employee Relations: provide employee relations support, including conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and performance improvement counseling.
8. Oversight on all staff benefits e.g. medical scheme, Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme etc. in-line with the company’s policy.
9. Overall Pay Roll Administration: Responsible for timely and accurate input of payroll
10. Ensure Compliance in ISO 9001:2008 QMS requirements in all tasks.

Qualifications
1. Degree in Human Resources or related field
2. Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
