JOB DETAILS:
Job title: Human Resource Senior Officer
Work station: Kampala

Job Purpose
The HR Senior Officer is responsible for the smooth running of the HR function in partnership with other business units. The role involves staffing, compensation & benefits, training & development, performance management, policies, preparing budgets, employee engagement and relations.

Job duties:
1. Implement the human resource strategy and related initiatives in collaboration with the HR headquarters.
2. Provide support to the leadership team in developing the skills and capabilities of staff in various roles and functions through the implementation of training interventions.
3. Conduct end-to-end recruitment, selection and orientation in collaboration with hiring managers to provide adequate staffing.
4. Generate ans maintain HR reports and dashboards to track key HR metrics, recruitment progress, payroll data and trends.

Required qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field.
• HR professional qualification
• Full membership to HRMAU.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in a senior HR role.
• Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite. Proficiency in using Sage 300 is an added advantage.
• Coaching or Mediation or organizational psychology certification is an added advantage.
