Job Summary:
The IT Specialist will provide technical support and maintain the company's computer systems, networks, and critical software applications, including PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and HIS (Hospital Information System). This role is vital for ensuring data integrity, security, and seamless daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line IT support to staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Administer and support medical imaging software (PACS/RIS) and other healthcare IT systems.
  • Ensure network security, perform regular backups, and implement cybersecurity protocols.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers.
  • Train end-users on new software and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Specialist or Support Technician, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT systems (PACS, RIS, HIS) is a significant advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, security, and server management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
