The government of the Republic of Uganda through the Ministry of Agriculture. Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Uganda Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation Project (UC-SATP).
The project development objective (PTO) is to increase productivity, market access, and resilience of selected value chains in the project area and to respond promptly and effectively to an eligible crisis or emergency.
Details of upcoming procurement:
a) Supply, delivery, training and commissioning of WPD Tractors and implements.
b) Supply, delivery, training and commissioning of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment.
c) Rehabilitation/construction of farm road chokes.

virtual consultative work shop scheduled for Tuesday; 18th November, 2025 starting at $.00am (Local Time). Venue: MAJIF
Tenth in Eriksöke.
The Objectives of the workshop include,
1- To create market awareness and inclusivity.
2- Collect expert opinion on market conditions and technical aspects of the project.
3- To establish Cost realism and budget validation.
4- To capture procurement preferences and participation barriers.
5- To gauge the level of market interest and competition
