UNDER OPEN INTERNATIONAL BIDDING

1. Korea International Cooperation Agency
   (KOICA) has allocated funds towards the implementation of the Project for enhancing the distance education environment at Makerere University in Uganda (FEEDMak Project).

2. KOICA now invites sealed bids from eligible and competent bidders for the Construction of the Centre for Distance Learning at Makerere University.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open International Bidding Method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 (As amended) and KOICA Procurement guidelines which are accessible to all bidders on the KOICA Uganda Website.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at the address below:
   KOICA Uganda office (2^st Floor, Maribaa House), Plot 17, Golf Course Road, Kololo
   from Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and on Friday from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.

5. Interested bidders should download the Bid Application form from the KOICA Uganda Office Website

6. The Deadline for submission of Bid Application forms is on 6^th October 2025 at 4pm.

7. Bid documents will be shared with interested bidders, who will have submitted complete Bid Application forms with attachments, via email on 6^th October 2024 by 5pm.

8. Pre-bid Meeting and site visit will be conducted the next day on 7^th October 2025 at Makerere University starting at 10:00 a.m.

9. Sealed Bids must be delivered before 10:00am or KOICA Uganda Office on 10^th November 2024 and the representative of bidders must attend the Bid Opening at the same venue from 10:00 am.
