UGANDA SUPPORT TO MUNICIPAL INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT-ADDITIONAL FINANCING (USMID-AF) PROGRAM

INVITATION TO BID

The Government of Uganda through Busia Municipal Council received supplementary funds to be used for the completion of previously under scoped Civil and auxiliary Works for selected Infrastructure sub-projects. Busia Municipal Council invites sealed bids from eligible and competent bidders for the provision of:

i. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open National Bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act CAP 205 and the Regulations made under the Act.

• Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from Busia Municipal Council at the address given below in vi(a) from 8:00a.m to 5:00p.m., Monday to Friday.

• A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to head Procurement and Disposal unit upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX100,000 (one hundred thousand Uganda shillings only). The method of payment will be through URA PRN obtained from the Office of the Municipal Treasurer and after payment, proceed to the address stated in vi(b) for issue of the bidding documents.

• There shall be a Pre-bid meeting at 10:00 a.m. at the address in vi(c) on the 24th February 2026. Bidders are advised to visit sites from the date of this advert.

• Bids must be delivered to the address below at vi(d) at or before 11:00am, on 06th March 2026. All bids must be accompanied by an original irrevocable bid security. Late bids shall be rejected. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at vi(e) at 11:30am on 06th March 2026.
