The Kikuubo Business Development Executive is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic relationships with wholesalers and retailers, and increasing product visibility, availability, placement, and revenue within the assigned market.

The Kikuubo Business Development Executive is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic relationships with wholesalers and retailers, and increasing product visibility, availability, placement, and revenue within the assigned market. The role focuses on the Central Business District trade channels, particularly Kikuubo, Owino, and Kisenyi, while supporting promotional and activation activities where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories and trade channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and key trade partners.
- Conduct regular market visits to Kikuubo, Owino, Kisenyi, and other assigned areas to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and present business proposals and commercial opportunities to prospective customers.
- Negotiate business agreements and secure new accounts to achieve growth targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Marketing team to implement sales, promotional, and activation initiatives.
- Support trade activations and promotional activities within assigned territories where required.
- Gather customer feedback and provide market insights to support product development and business improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, customer engagement, and market performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
- Experience working within FMCG, distribution, or trade development environments is an added advantage.

- Strong relationship management and customer engagement abilities.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and sales data.
