Job summary

The Lab Technician / biomedical Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair of biomedical and laboratory equipment to ensure reliable performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Job descriptions & requirements

Duties

  • Installing, user training, commissioning, testing, and validating laboratory equipment at customer sites.
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnosing and repairing equipment faults in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Conducting equipment calibration, performance verification, and functional testing where applicable.
  • Supporting equipment demonstrations, evaluations, and technical presentations during sales and tender processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and applicable health and safety standards.
  • Working closely with the sales and technical teams to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the Technical Manager.

Education & Knowledge

  • Applicants should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University or Institution.

Working Experience

  • 1 year of experience in installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of biomedical or laboratory equipment is required.
