A treatment plan is only as good as the lab result it’s built on. We need someone who makes those results trustworthy — for leprosy, Type 1 Diabetes, and Sickle Cell Disease patients across Eastern Uganda and West Nile.

Responsibilities or duties

You’ll run slit-skin smear microscopy, HbA1c and glucose testing, sickle cell screening and confirmatory testing, and keep quality control as a discipline, not paperwork.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, valid AHPC licence (mandatory), 2+ years’ lab experience (hospital or NGO setting preterred).

  • Run slit-skin smear microscopy
  • HbA1c and glucose testing
