Job Purpose:
UMSC/ADV/EXT/04/2023

1. To handle both internal and external legal concerns
2. To handle and corporate matters in UMSC and providing legal advice to management and any department of UMSC
3.To monitor and advise management on all legal affairs within UMSC to added control weaknesses and other inefficiency

Required Qualification, Experience and Skills
1. A bachelor's degree preferably in B.Com (Accounting) or BBA plus 2nd Part of professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA or ACA
2A Minimum of three or more years of Audit experience or in reputable organization
3. Demonstrable Working knowledge of auditing principles and donor accountably requirement

Key Responsibilities
1. Liaise with the necessary UMSC department and directorate to draft, review and firaize al legal documents MOUS contracts, tender documents, etc and are in compliance with all statutory and UMSC requirements
2. Following up all on-going court cases closely and accordingly advising UMSC management
3. Receive and manage summons and after identification of deral counsel, forward to adwal counsel
4. Prepare and assemble material, documents and cohibits for court appearance and hearings.
6. Travel with external counsel for court cases where necessary. 6.Be the contact person for external lawyers in the time being 7. Regular review and identification of legal ako within UMSC and tance in migating them
Not have been successfully impeached by any of the UMSC 8. Periodical legal review and recommending updates of internal organs
8. At least 40 years old and not more than 66 years old.
9. Working experience of at least 10 years at a managerial level in a busy organization
