Premier Distilleries Ltd is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Mechanic to join our team based in Kawanda – Kampala, Uganda.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 3 years’ working experience as a mechanic in a vehicle garage.

Diploma or Certificate in Automobile Mechanics or related field.

Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, etc.).

Strong troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicles for mechanical and electrical faults.

Carry out routine servicing and maintenance (oil change, filter replacement, fluid top-up, etc.).

Perform engine repairs, brake servicing, clutch repairs, suspension and steering repairs, and other garage services.

Use diagnostic equipment and hand tools to identify and fix vehicle problems.

Test drive vehicles to ensure proper operation after repairs.

Maintain a clean and safe work area and keep accurate records of work done.
