Description
Tenna & Pharma Laboratories is hiring competent, dedicated, and professional Medical Officer (2) to carryout the following key duties and responsibilities;
Reports to: Medical-In-Charge
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and consultations.
- Perform general medical examinations and systemic examinations in accordance with the facility’s standard operating procedures and the Gulf Health Council (GHC) regulations and guidelines.
- Diagnose, manage, and provide appropriate treatment plans for patients.
- Review and interpret laboratory and diagnostic findings.
- Participate in medical fitness assessments and travel health evaluations.
- Ensure proper documentation of patient records and medical reports.
- Adhere to infection prevention, biosafety, and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Participate in continuous medical education and professional development activities.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical medical practice at all times.
- Counselling and offering psychological support to patients.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from a recognized and reputable institution.
- Must be registered with the relevant professional medical regulatory body.
- Must possess a valid practicing license.
- Training or experience in travel medicine, occupational health, or GHC medical guidelines is an added advantage.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience in GHC-accredited settings is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of general medicine and clinical practice.
- Competence in conducting general and systemic medical examinations.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong report writing and documentation skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with electronic medical records.
