Job Opportunity: Midwife
We are currently seeking qualified and compassionate Midwives to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to make a significant impact in maternal and child health.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional midwifery care to expectant and new mothers.
- Monitor mothers and babies throughout pregnancy, labour, delivery and the postnatal period.
- Conduct antenatal and postnatal assessments and provide appropriate care.
- Assist with safe delivery and provide immediate care to mothers and newborns.
- Identify and appropriately manage or refer maternal and neonatal complications.
- Provide health education and counselling on maternal and newborn health.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Promote infection prevention, hygiene and patient safety.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Provide compassionate, respectful and patient-centred services.
Qualifications
- 1 position: Diploma in Midwifery.
- 1 position: Certificate in Midwifery.
- Relevant professional registration and a valid practising licence will be required where applicable.
