NOTICE FOR OPEN TENDER MEDICAL INSURANCE COVER FOR STUDENTS

Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) Uganda Chapter invites sealed bids from eligible Medical Insurance providers for:

1. Scope of Work:

   • Provide comprehensive medical insurance coverage for students,

   • Country wide coverage includes inpatient and outpatient treatment, emergency services and other benefits as specified in the Terms of reference.

2. Eligibility Criteria:

   • Registered insurance providers with relevant experience of not less than five (5) years.

   • Prequalified and accredited by IRA to be included among approved medical underwriters.

   • Ability to provide medical insurance services in healthcare facilities near tertiary institutions/universities.

   • Ability to demonstrate company’s financial stability.

3. Tender Documents:

   • Tender documents including detailed specifications, terms of reference, evaluation criteria and conditions can be obtained from Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) Uganda Chapter offices, Plot 328, Mugalu Close, Bukoto – Off Kisasa Road upon providing the original bank slip/receipt as proof of payment of Two Hundred Thousand Shillings only (Ugs 200,000) that is Nonrefundable.

   • The Tender documents will be available after showing proof of payment from 30th July to 11th August 2026 between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm (Monday to Thursday) and between 9:00am and 12:00 noon (Friday).

   • Submission of bid documents:

     • Completed and sealed bids must be delivered to the address above at (3a) by 3:00pm Wednesday 12th August 2026

     • It is mandatory for bidders to submit the original bank transaction slip/receipt with the completed bid documents. Bids without the original bank transaction slip/receipt attached shall not be received. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

   • There shall not be a pre - bid meeting.

   • Payment methods:

   • Payments are to be made through bank deposit or transfer to AVC Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) Uganda Chapter, Account, 9030005605198 Stanbic Bank, Corporate Branch.
