Description
Uganda Heart Institute (UHI) is hiring a Physiotherapist to improve patients’ cardiovascular health, functional capacity, and quality of life through tailored exercise programs, rehabilitation, and education.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, safe, and quality physiotherapy services to patients.
- Participate in health promotion activities.
- Evaluate and refer patients for cardio-respiratory physiotherapy services.
- Participate in research activities and health data collection.
- Participate in Continuing Professional Development programmes.
- Adhere to professional code of conduct and ethics.
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment for delivery of cardio-respiratory physiotherapy services.
- Collect and maintain information and records for physiotherapy services.
- Assist in the supervision of undergraduate and diploma students.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.
- Must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years working experience as a Physiotherapist.
