JOB DETAILS:
About the Client: PSS has been mandated to hire a Plant Finance Head for an organization that imports and distributes pharmaceutical products. They also started a manufacturing unit in 2006; today, it is East Africa's leading pharmaceutical platform.

Job Purpose: Responsible for planning and coordinating plant budget and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies and practices. The incumbent will provide financial direction to the plant and provide recommendations to improve site performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for delivering Financial, Cost and Compliance controls at the plant as well as working with the plant team to achieve all KPI's of the plant.
• Preparation and monitoring of Plant Budget. Product Costing validation and reporting
• Preparation of MIS and submission as per the timeline
• Working Capital Management
• Responsible for month end closing activity and reporting
• Responsible for custody and control of Fixed Assets
• Opex Statements against Budget on a monthly basis.
• Review capital expenditure spending, actual savings realization tracking
• Timely Updation of standard cost
• Controlling plant overheads. To track plant performances on a regular basis and drive attention to key performance indicator driving cost reduction and waste elimination initiatives at the plant
• Inventory control through monthly Reporting
• Responsibility for correctness of Plant Financials - Costing/FI
• Ensure Proper Internal Control system is implemented & followed at the Plant.

Educational Qualifications And Experience:
• Chartered Accountant with 5 to 10 yrs of experience in the manufacturing Industry preferably from Pharmaceutical Industry
• Good Communication and Leadership skills
• Working on ERP
