Because of that, the Company is continously seeks to recruit jobs, whose operations are conduted at The Bugolobi Head offices and at the Mukono Factory.
JOB SUMMARY
The Plant Operator will be responsible for enhancing plant performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability by executing predictive and planned maintenance programs, responding promptly to equipment breakdowns, and ensuring the consistent production of high‑quality products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out production planning and produce products of acceptable standards
- Execute preventive and condition‑based maintenance programs
- Carry out on‑the‑run inspections and pro‑acts to mitigate unanticipated breakdowns
- Maintain a high level of equipment cleanliness and safety
- Promptly attend to breakdowns
- Participate in planning and managing spares effectively
- Contribute to maintenance standards and procedures
- Perform process improvements
- Adhere to the high safety standards as stipulated in the Company's safety rules
- Increase the MTBF (mean time before failure) and improve OEE (overall equipment effectiveness)
- Produce accurate production reports within the required/stipulated timelines
- Operate machines to produce products of the right quality with minimum cost
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate should preferably have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a minimum of 2 years of work experience in an industrial environment.
He or she must have good technical skills in interpreting engineering drawings, welding, and fabrication.
The ideal candidate must be a team player with good analytical, troubleshooting/problem solving skills
