PREQUALIFICATION NOTICE FOR PROVIDERS

FOR SUPPLIES, SERVICES & WORKS

SOCADIDO/Caritas-Soroti is a faith-based organization and is the development arm of Soroti Catholic Diocese. It has existed since 1981. SOCADIDO’s focus has been changing to align the organization’s development interventions to the prevailing circumstances and needs of the target population in a holistic and integrated model to ensure sustainable system changes in the Tesso sub-region.

SOCADIDO is in the process of prequalifying service providers who will be invited to bid/quote from time to time as and when a need arises for the provision of various supplies, professional services and general services in the financial years 2027, 2028 and 2029.

SOCADIDO now invites suitable qualified bidders to submit sealed documents/ applications for the supplies, services and works.

Interested and eligible bidders shall access prequalification documents at a nonrefundable fee of UGX 50,000 payable to A/C Name SOCADIDO AGRIC DEVELOPMENT, Centenary Bank Soroti Branch A/C No. 4510400192.

Bid documents shall be issued and returned after presenting a valid banking payment receipt.

Prequalification documents shall be issued and returned at the SOCADIDO reception during office hours from 8am-5pm.

Submissions should be properly sealed, clearly marked with the services/supply/works offered including reference number and delivered to the registered address below:

Online submissions shall be sent to socadido@gmail.com not exceeding 10Mbs.

The closing day for submission of bids shall be 21st August, 2026 at 4:00 pm. All late submissions shall be rejected and SOCADIDO shall not be bound to accept any bid.

Requirements

a. Details of the company profile including physical and postal address of the firm, office number, email address and telephone number of directors
b. Certificate of registration/incorporation
c. Valid trading license
d. Tax registration certificate and valid tax clearance certificate
e. General receipt acknowledging payment of bid fee

A prospective applicant requiring any clarification on the prequalification requirements may notify SOCADIDO using the clients email: socadido@gmail.com. SOCADIDO will respond in writing to any requests for clarification which it receives no later than 5 days prior to the submission of application.

SOCADIDO reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the prequalification process. SOCADIDO also reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as and when issuing the final prequalification document.
