PREQUALIFICATION NOTICE OF PROVIDERS OF SUPPLIES AND SERVICES 2024 TO 2027
Makerere University Lung Institute is in the process of pre-qualifying providers who will be invited to bid quote from time to time, as and when a need arises for the provision of various supplies, services and works in the financial years 2024 2027. Makerere University Lung Institute now invites suitably qualified bidders to submit sealed pre- qualification documents for
Category A (Supplies)
Supply of toner, general office stationaries and supplies.
Terms and conditions for pre-qualification
Supply of human drugs and medical sundries
Supply of Information Technology (IT) equipment and accessories.
Supply of office furniture and fittings.
Supply of medical equipment and spares
Supply of general sundries and toiletries.
Supply of brand new and used vehicles.
Supply of ACs, generators and fire extinguishers.
Category B (Services)
Printing services
Servicing and Calibration of medical equipment Engraving and labelling services Vehicle repair and maintenance
Construction works and renovations.
Servicing and maintenance of IT equipment Servicing of air conditioners and fridges
Servicing of Fire extinguishers and smoke alarm detectors
Servicing & maintenance of generators
Outside Catering services
Tairing services
Customs clearing, forwarding and courier services.
Insurance services.
Travel and air ticketing services
Vehicle hiring services.
Hotel and conference services
Translation and transcription services
Architectural services
Movers and data archival services

The pre-qualification will be conducted according to prequalification procedures specified in the PPDA regulations of the govemment of Uganda Bidders must attach to their applications copies of the folowing
Detailed company profile including physical and postal address of the firm, office telephone number, e-mail address, facsimile address & telephone numbers of Directors
Certificate of registration incorporation
Valid trading license
Names and addresses of bankers.
VAT Registration certificate
General receipt (original) acknowledging payment of bid fee
Audited books of accounts for the last 2 years Valid Tax Identification Number
Interested eligible bidders may purchase pre-qualification documents at a non-refundable fee of 100,000 Uganda ahillinge (One hundred thousand shillings) per document from the Procurement office at Makerere University Lung Institute starting from Thursday, 1 February 2024 between 10:00Pm to 3:00Pm on working days.
Pre-qualification documents clearly marked Pre-qualification documents for the provision of supplical services to Makerere University Lung Institute must be delivered and registered to the address below:
