About the job Primary ICT Teacher - Ajman (Temporary contract)

We have also been selected by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) to operate the Abu Dhabi Charter Schools programme, and by Emirates Schools Establishment (ESE) to operate schools in the Northern Emirates as part of the Ajyal (new generation) school initiative.

We are therefore seeking a qualified and experienced Primary ICT Teacher to join our school in Ajman for an immediate start. This contract will run until the end of Academic Year 2025/2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive ICT lessons to Grade 3 and 4 students in line with curriculum standards.
  • Develop students digital literacy, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills through hands-on, project-based learning.
  • Plan and prepare lessons, assess and monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Inspire, challenge, and support students to develop a strong foundation in ICT while promoting their wellbeing and safety.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and development.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to curriculum innovation and enhancement.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelors degree in Education with a specialisation in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years teaching experience as an ICT teacher in a primary school setting.
  • Experience with American or British curriculum frameworks is highly desirable.
  • A passion for technology and the ability to inspire young learners to become confident and responsible users of ICT.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
  • A collaborative, flexible, and innovative approach to teaching.
