S Kant East Africa Limited is a pharmaceutical manufacturing subsidiary of S Kant Healthcare Limited, based in the Namanve Industrial Park.
PROCESS MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN – 3RD SHIFT
Job Purpose
To maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems associated with pharmaceutical production and process equipment during the assigned shift.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose electrical faults on production equipment.
- Inspect motors, control panels, wiring, sensors and electrical circuits.
- Troubleshoot machine electrical failures.
- Repair or replace defective electrical components.
- Maintain motors, starters, relays, contactors and control systems.
- Support PLC-related troubleshooting where applicable.
- Conduct preventive electrical maintenance.
- Respond promptly to production breakdowns.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records.
- Ensure safe isolation of electrical equipment before maintenance.
- Follow GMP and electrical safety requirements.
- Monitor electrical equipment performance.
- Report recurring faults to the Maintenance Engineer.
- Support shutdown and planned maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or recognised electrician qualification.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience.
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Ability to work the 3rd shift.

Level of Education: associate degree
