<p>On behalf of one of our Business Units, <strong>FLIP Africa</strong>, we are looking for a competent and innovative <strong>Product Officer</strong> to work in Uganda.</p>
<p><strong>KEY DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Execute a bold product vision that aligns with the company’s long-term strategic goals.</li>
<li>Champion a product-led growth strategy, ensuring a strong market fit and user-centric approach.</li>
<li>Translate business goals into a scalable and monetizable product roadmap.</li>
<li>Lead digital transformation efforts to optimize the platform, improving efficiency, scalability, and user experience.</li>
<li>Stay ahead of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to future-proof the product.</li>
<li><strong>Additional Responsibilities:</strong>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing) to deliver products on time and within budget.</li>
<li>Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure product success.</li>
<li>Conduct user research and A/B testing to validate product features.</li>
<li>Manage stakeholder communication, including progress reports to senior leadership.</li>
<li>Oversee product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-release optimization.</li>

<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.</li>
<li>Proven experience in scaling digital marketplaces or platforms.</li>
<li>Expertise in product-led growth, digital transformation, and commercialization strategies.</li>
<li>Ability to work with and educate a non-technical leadership team on product and tech strategy.</li>
<li><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong>
<ul>
<li>Proficiency in tools like Jira, Figma, or SQL.</li>
<li>Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making.</li>
<li>Knowledge of UX/UI principles and customer journey mapping.</li>
