JOB DETAILS:

Purpose: FHI 360 seeks a short-term hire to provide coordination support to USAID MCHN's technical assistance work in Kampala to strengthen a harmonized and efficient approach to implementation of Division and site-level RMNCAH, Nutrition, Family Planning, QI and strengthening activities.

Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate technical
Division and site-level

1. Support activities implemented by USAID MCHN teams, ensuring a coordinated and harmonized approach to avoid duplication and instead promote synergy, cross-leveraging, and convergence. Coordinate community activities including integrated outreaches by subgrantee Civil Society Organizations and ensure full integration and reporting of outputs using HMIS 105 and HMIS 097 reports.
2. Closely work with the MEL team to implement division and site-level HMIS strengthening activities including data verification exercises, performance review meetings, and activities aimed at increasing routine data utilization to guide the investment of efforts.
3. Represent the USAID MCHN Activity at relevant meetings or other events as may be appropriate.
4. Perform other duties as may be assigned by and agreed upon with the supervisor.


Requirements/Qualifications

1. Bachelor of Public health, Nursing, or health-related disciplines. A
2. post-graduate qualification in public health or another related field is of added advantage.
3. Demonstrated skills in collaborative engagement, program planning, use of CQI to improve systems and processes, and knowledge management.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relations with different stakeholders.
5. Ability to work independently in a complex environment, and manage high-volume, fast-paced workflow. Previous experience in a USAID-funded program is an added advantage.
