JOB DETAILS:
Supports implementation of the country programme strategies focusing on achievement of the following results:
• Assist in development and implementation of programme strategies, work plans including monitoring and evaluation plans. Collection, analysis and presentation of information needed for programme development and implementation
• Assist in developing and implementing project communication strategies
• Assist in proper communication of Country Programme strategy.
• Provides effective support to management of the country pro- gramme focusing on the achievement of the following results: Assist in the operational and financial management ensuring that necessary programme management and financial procedures are properly implemented.
• Track and report on programme implementation.
• Presentation of information for evaluation of the projects.
• Other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the programme manager

• Identifies relevant information for advocacy for a variety of audi-ences
• Programme development and management using result-based approach
• Provides information and documentation on specific stages of proj- ects/programme implementation
• Project proposal writing

• Analyses general information and selects materials in support of partnership building initiatives

• Documents and tracks innovative strategies/best practices/new approaches
• Promoting Learning and Knowledge Sharing
• Researches best practices and poses new, more effective ways of doing things

• Understands the main processes and methods of work regarding to the position
• Possesses basic knowledge of organizational policies and procedures relating to the position and applies them consistently in work tasks
• Demonstrates good knowledge of information technology and applies it in work assignments

Client/Funding agency Orientation

• Reports to clients/funding agency in a timely and appropriate fashion Organizes and prioritizes work schedule to meet client/funding agency needs and deadlines
• Establishes, builds and sustains effective relationships within the work unit and with clients/funding agency
• Responds to client/funding agency needs promptly
• Assist in preparation, filing, compilation and dissemination of docu- ments/materials relating to the programme.

Provides administrative support to the CPMO focusing on achieve- ment of the following results:
• Provide logistics support for missions, events and project related workshops.
• Through the CPMO, mmaintain good communication with other WCDO Offices and in-country external counterparts.
• Assist in establishing and maintenance of country programme's projects' profile.
• Provide other daily administrative support to the CPMO

Supports country programme's knowledge building and sharing focusing on achievement of the following results:
• Participation in the trainings for the operations/ projects staff on programme issues.
• Contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice.
• Must have a university y degree in either; Community Development, Social Sciences or a related area.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years post-graduation relevant programme work experience;
• Experience working with international non-governmental organi- zations, relevant UN organizations/ agencies and/or governmental offices is preferred;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and team work spirit Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems. Language:
• Fluency in English
