PROVISION OF BOAT SERVICES FOR HDD WORKS ACROSS THE NILE RIVER
Description of Work
The boat services are needed for survey for pipeline works across the Albert Nile River from north bank to south bank. the project location is about 10km from Wanseko. There are two docking point of the boat that is Wanseko Jetty and Paraa Ferry Crossing. One boats used for the para track tool and HDD team and the other will be for the rescue team.
Working Period
The drilling project is expected to run from 1 April to 30 September 2024. Within this period, there will be both a 24-hour working time (full-time use) and standby time at the site (partial use not use) of the boat services.
Boat Requirements
The working boat of wooden or plastic or fiber material with a capacity of Ten (10) people and a minimum engine power of 150HP, the rescue boat can be metal material with a capacity of 7 people, both boats should be with a valid registration license from the marine authorities, together with valid supporting documents to state the least. permits and licenses of the Boat Captain and staff.
Sinopec (Uganda) will provide fuel, food and accommodation, transport for staff, security for the boats. Interested firms should submit their EOI by email to the following addresses by Feb 20, 2024. Late applications will not be considered.
