BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN INTERNATIONAL BIDDING
Re-advertised Realignment study of control gate and counter weight guide slots at Nalubaale power station. Procurement reference Number; UEGCL/CONS/23-24/40123
Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for acquisition of a consultant to undertake realignment study of control gates and counter weight guide slots for Nalubaale power station (NPS) Units
The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible consultant companies for the provision of the above services.
Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 as amended and Regulations 2023 is open to all bidders.
Interested eligible consultant companies may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below from 8:00am -5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
The bidding document which has been prepared in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/-(Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand only). The method of payment will be in the bank on UEGCL A/C No. 9030011177327, Stanbic Bank upon which bidders shall present a bank deposit slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.
Bids must be delivered to the address below before or on 15th March, 2024 at 11:00am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid securing declaration. Proposal securing declaration shall remain valid until August 30, 2024. Late proposals shall be rejected, Proposals will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below on 15th March, 2024 at 11:30am.
All bidders are encouraged to send technical staff during Pre-bid/Site Visit.
