DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT:
The World Food Programme (WFP) Uganda Country Office is inviting competent and financially stable business entities that have the expertise, capability and experience to provide pest control services in food storage facilities at locations in the following districts: Adjumani, Agago, Arua, Buyende, Dokolo, Gulu, Hoima, Iganga, Jinja, Kaabong, Kampala, Kamuli, Karmwe, Kapchorwa, Kasese, Kiboga, Kikuube, Kotido, Kyeggwa, Lamwo, Masindi, Mbara, Moroto, Moyo, Nakapiripirit, Napak, Ntungamo, Omoro, Oyam, Serere, Tororo and Yumbe.
Pest control services include among others fumigation, spraying, control of termites, rodents, bats, birds, and reptiles.
Prospective firms should possess capacity to provide required pest control materials and equipment, trained and licensed technicians and transportation to all locations over Uganda.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
This request for EoI is not an invitation to tender nor does it imply automatic selection to WFP's shortlist. No rates/prices are required at this stage, and this invitation does not bind WFP to issue any tenders or to contract the companies expressing their interest. Furthermore, WFP reserves the right to change or cancel this process or any of its requirements at any time during the process.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION TO SUBMIT WITH THE EOI:
In order to participate in the prequalification exercise, companies are required to provide all the below listed documents by electronic mail (E-mail) as indicated below.

1. A letter of Expression of Interest well typed on an official letterhead clearly specifying the physical address of the business.
2. An original letter of support from the firm's/organisation principal financial banker outlining the firm's/organisation's financial status and credibility. If such a letter is issued in the name of an individual (guarantor) related to the firm/organisation, clearly state the guarantor's exact position in the firm/organisation and/or other links with the firm/organisation.
3. Completed WFP Logistics Service Questionnaire. Interested companies should request for the WFP Logistics Service Questionnaire via email on kampla.logisticscontracting@wfp.org.
4. A valid fumigation license for both the company and the fumigators (pest control technicians) issued by the Agricultural Chemicals Board of the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries.
5. Business firm's/organisation Audited Financial Statements for at least two of the past three years (2023, 2024 and 2025) or expressed intention to provide such statements within one month (including bank statements).
6. Business firm's/organisation Certificate of Incorporation or registration.
7. Company's tax registration certificate (including VAT).
8. Evidence of registration in Electronic Fiscal Receipting and Invoicing System (EFRIS)
9. Income tax clearance certificates for at least two of the past three years (2023, 2024 and 2025).
10. Company's current trading license
11. Copies of Organisation/ Business firm's policies on Anti-Fraud & Anti-corruption practices, Prevention of sexual exploitation & abuse, and Gender parity in the staff structure.
12. Letters of reference from three existing clients. WFP requires copies of reference letters from companies/organisations your company has provided and/or is providing similar services
13. Inventory of requisite pest control materials and equipment and list of items that can be readily mobilised.

All the above listed documents should be prepared in accordance with the instructions provided labelled "Request for expression of interest to provide pest control services in food storage facilities: Ref: F.03.01.13173" and sent by email to kampla.logisticscontracting@wfp.org before the deadline.

WFP will not consider incomplete or unsigned submissions as well as submissions after the stipulated deadline.

After the deadline for submission of responses has passed, WFP will evaluate responses received and will notify eligible participants of the outcome of the evaluation.

WFP does not charge any fee for companies to participate in the entire process.
