Job Summary: Dyadic Research Impacts seeks to hire a Research Associate/Program Manager to manage some of the company’s projects regarding firm productivity, growth, climate change and urbanization.
S/he will work closely with academic researchers and other field staff to perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to: designing survey questionnaires, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, running pilot exercise, refining study design and surveying instruments, managing survey teams, checking and analyzing data, cleaning data and assisting in preliminary analysis, assisting in the writing of project reports and policy memos, and coordinating with implementing partners.
S/he reports to and falls under the direct supervision of the Chief Executive Officer. S/he will work with and seek project related guidance from the research team or Project Investigators. S/he may, from time-to-time, perform other duties not listed in the job description.

Qualifications, skills and experience
• The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, social sciences, public policy, political science, business administration or related fields. A master’s degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience with quantitative research, particularly with randomized controlled trials related to firm friction, firm growth, youth employment, urbanization and climate change.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Stata and/or MS Office, LaTeX, QGIS, R, and experience with data management, data cleaning, and regression analysis;
• Excellent management and organizational skills along with strong quantitative skills;
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude;
• Flexible, self-motivating, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a team player;
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-level relationships with partner organizations;
• Experience running a large-scale survey and managing the survey implementation and data entry process;
• Experience working on projects funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Foreign, Common Wealth and Development Office (FCDO);
• Experience with Computer-Assisted data collection platforms such as Survey Solutions, SurveyCTO, etc.
• Fluency and excellent communication skills in English language.

Duration of contract: This is a one-year fixed contract position with a possibility of renewal depending on the availability of funds.
