About the job

we are recruiting on behalf of our client who is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive preferably with an IT background to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying prospects, presenting ERP solutions, closing deals, and maintaining long-term client relationships across various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities for ERP solutions across Uganda
  • Prospect and build a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, cold calling, and digital outreach
  • Conduct client needs assessments and recommend appropriate ERP solutions
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to decision-makers (CFOs, CEOs, IT Managers)
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts
  • Negotiate pricing and close sales agreements
  • Work closely with the technical/implementation team to ensure smooth project handovers
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports in CRM systems
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales (ERP or enterprise software sales is highly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes (Finance, HR, Inventory, Procurement, etc.)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage C-level executives and decision-makers
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
