BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING PROCUREMENT OF TYRES UNDER FRAMEWORK CONTRACT

1. The Government of Uganda has allocated funds to be used for acquisition of Tyres under Framework contract arrangements.
2. The Ministry of Health now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Equipment described above.
3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the PPDA Act, 2003 (the Act) and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at 10(a) from 0800hrs to 1700hrs.
5. The bidding document which has been prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders at 10(b) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100,000/- (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be through the Bank on the URA -Non Tax Revenue Account.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 10(c) on 14/09/2026 at or before 11.00 am.
   • All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amounts specified below: UGX 10,000,000
   • The bid security will be in form of a Bank Guarantee obtained from a reputable commercial bank subject to verification. Late bids shall be rejected.
7. Bid securities must be valid until 12/03/2027. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 10(d) at 10:30am.
8. There shall not be a pre-bid meeting.
