JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
To maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and back-of-house areas, ensuring that all equipment, utensils, and floors are sanitized and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Washing: Manually wash pots, pans, and utensils; operate industrial dishwashers.
- Deep Cleaning: Degrease hoods, walls, and fryer stations weekly.
- Waste Management: Segregate waste; dispose of used oil and food scraps as per policy.
- Stock Support: Receive and store deliveries in the dry store and cold rooms.
Qualifications & Experience:
- No formal education required, but must be literate.
- Previous cleaning/porter experience is an advantage.
- Physically fit for heavy lifting and standing long hours.
