2. Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:00am to 5:00pm from Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.

5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 8(a). Bidders are advised to make payment of a nonrefundable fee of UGX; 150,000/= (Uganda Shillings, One Hundred Fifty Thousand Only)

VAT inclusive to Standard Chartered bank; Speke Road, Account number 0105610632101 in name of Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST) and collect a receipt from Finance and Accounts Office upon submission of bank slip.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before 11:00 am on 28th April 2023. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 7,500,000 (Uganda Shillings; Seven Million and Five Hundred Thousand only) and shall be in the form of a Bank Guarantee from any recognized commercial bank in Uganda. Bids must be valid until 17th October, 2023. Bid security must be valid until 23rd November 2023. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 11:30 am on 28th April 2023.

7. There shall be a pre – bid meeting on Friday 14th April, 2023 at 10.00 am at UNCST Meeting ONE, Ground Floor, Science and Technology Building.
