OPEN BIDDING
SUPPLY OF ASSORTED OFFICE FURNITURE & FURNISHINGS NARO/SUPLS/2023-2024/00003
The National Agricultural Research Organisation has received funding from the Government of Uganda and intends to apply part of the funds for the acquisition of assorted office furniture & furnishings.
The National Agricultural Research Organisation invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply of Assorted Office Furniture & Furnishings.
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from National Agricultural Research Organisation and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at (a) from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on official working days.
The bidding document which has been prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100,000/- (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). Payment will be made to Uganda Revenue Authority through a commercial bank after obtaining a Bank Payment Advice Form from the URA website. An application letter together with a receipt from the bank shall be scanned and emailed to the email under 8(b) below to obtain the bidding document
Bids must be delivered to the address below at 9(c) at or before 10:00 am on 21 August 2023 late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders representatives, who choose to attend at the address below at 9(d) at 10:30 am on 21-August 2023.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in form of a bank guarantee from a recognised commercial bank regulated by the Bank of Uganda. Bid securities must be valid until 14 February 2024
a)Supply of Office Furniture & Furnishings (Lot 1) - UGX 700,000
b)Supply of a Digital Billboard & Display Unit (Lot 2)- UGX 6,000,000
There shall not be a pre-bid meeting.
