Purpose of the role
- To ensure overall security and safety of company assets, personnel & visitors at the corporate office as well as Visa application centres
- To monitor security operations across the globe & ensure maintenance of security systems
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Provide a visual security presence to ensure that the visitors have a safe and pleasant experience while visiting the centre. Ensure that all
electronic and mechanical systems relating to security are functioning properly
2. Responsible for guard force management at all VACs
3. Safeguard and protect company assets and provide a safe and secure work environment for employees, vendors, contractors & visitors
4. Ensure life safety of all inside VAC and institute loss prevention measures to prevent incidents/accidents
5. Recommend Countermeasures to ensure security of people, assets and processes in regular consultations with Operations teams
6. Accountable for maintenance of automation security systems
7. Ensure Compliance with VFS Global defined information security policies and procedures applicable to the role
8. Ensure all critical service levels are met and contractual obligations compiled to, with deviations reported through incident report framework
9. Ensure implementation of security policies and procedures. Prepare, plan, coordinate, and manage an inspection program for compliance by business interests with best practices of physical security policies & requirements
10. Supervise the deployment and performance of security personnel
Indicative URA’s/Budgetary and Revenue Responsibilities
1. Safeguard company asset
2. New Project Roll Out
3. Plan & execute VAC security equipment budget.
4. Timely & accurate reporting & handling of security incidents
5. Maintenance of MIS
Key Interactions within and outside of VFS Global
Qualification & Experience
Graduate or its global equivalent degree
Post graduate or its global equivalent degree
Minimum 0 – 5 years of work experience
Knowledge & skills:
• Knowledge of the principles, techniques, current trends, laws, policies and programs related to Corporate Security and Investigations
• Good customer service skills
• Excellent Communication skills (Verbal and Written)
• Good Team player
• Good Problem solving skills
