Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and technically proficient Sales Engineer to lead our tendering processes, expand our clientele portfolio, and nurture long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strategic mindset to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Tendering & Technical Proposal Development (MUST HAVE)
• Lead the preparation and submission of competitive bids and tenders.
• Analyze tender documents and coordinate with technical teams to develop winning technical proposals including Methodologies, Construction Schedules, Mobilisation Schedules and Others
• Ensure compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
Client Acquisition & Portfolio Growth
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the company’s client base.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales strategies.
Relationship Management
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular engagement and support.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, feedback, and technical consultations.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Reporting & Collaboration
• Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts for management review.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and operations teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Technical Sales will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar sales engineering role.
• Proven track record in technical tendering, client acquisition, and relationship management.
• Strong technical understanding of engineering products and services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working with UEDCL, UETCL, UEGCL, Industrial Clients, Commercial Clients and other clients
