Finance Trust Bank was licensed as a Tier 1 Commercial Bank on 11th November, 2013, taking over the financial services business of Uganda Finance Trust Limited (MDI). Today Finance Trust Bank is a fully-fledged commercial bank serving a clientele of over 500,000 depositors and over 37,000 borrowers, through a network of 35 branches country wide. The bank offers a variety of Products and services including; Savings, Current accounts, Loans, Money transfer services and Bills payments to its target market which comprises of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, salary earners and youth.
In order to meet the needs of its growing customer base, the company is seeking to recruit dynamic, self-motivated, result oriented professionals to fill the following position;


Role of the Job:
This position reports directly to the Head of Treasury & International Business and will be based at Head Office.

Key Result Areas:
1. Manage foreign exchange sales operations and keep track record of foreign exchange transactions – set up calling plans across existing and potential clients
2. Sell the bank`s treasury products and facilitate negotiations with customers
3. Implement sales plans in order to attract more customers. These include engaging in business networking, working with branches to identify & engage existing and potential clients on an on-going basis.
4. Work with the Treasury dealer to manage the foreign exchange trading functions in order to meet the bank`s goals financially.

Minimum educational and technical competence requirements:
1. Bachelor`s degree in a business related field from a recognized University.
2. Any professional qualification will be an added advantage
3. Working experience of one year as a Banking Officer.
4. Good working knowledge of computer
5. Excellent networking skills and a sound knowledge of the banking environment.
6. Demonstrates ability to gather, analyze and internalize information in order to offer solutions to customer needs.
7. Demonstrates business acumen- ability to make good judgments and quick decisions in order to maximize forex revenues.
8. Demonstrate sales experience
9. Strong analytical skills
