Job Purpose:

To provide safe, timely, and efficient transportation of LPG products, staff, and company goods while ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport LPG cylinders and related goods safely to and from designated destinations.
  • Ensure proper handling, loading, and offloading of company products.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, water, brakes, tires, etc.) and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy, and in compliance with company maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and incidents.
  • Adhere strictly to road safety rules and company policies.
  • Support branch operations when not on driving duty, including assisting with cylinder movements within the depot.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Valid Ugandan driving license (Class CM, CH, or DL preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience driving heavy commercial vehicles, preferably in fuel or LPG transportation.
  • Good knowledge of Kampala roads and surrounding areas.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, safety awareness, and reliability.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.
