Mota-Engil is hiring a Vehicle Tracking Systems Analyst responsible for enhancing driving performance, improving road safety, and ensuring compliance across both Company and contractor operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Improve driving performance.
  • Monitor and analyze data from in-vehicle monitoring systems (IVMS)/vehicle tracker systems.
  • Serves as subject matter expert for vehicle data recorder data interpretation.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments to identify risks associated with heavy and light vehicle operations.
  • Involves assets in developing action plans as needed.
  •  Conduct assessments and provide support for driving safety activities for Company drivers.
  • Monitor incident trends and perform root cause investigations.
  • Present findings and safety trend analysis reports to management and other audiences.
  • Monitor/research new/existing government regulations and interpret the impact on the region.
  • Develop and deliver presentations regarding road safety performance.
  • Share/gain logistics best practices.
  • Assist in monitoring and improving the Company’s contractor road safety performance.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Diploma in Information Technology, Transport, or Logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Safety training is required.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in transportation, logistics, road safety, or fleet monitoring.
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, and/or road safety is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with fleet monitoring systems, particularly IVMS.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts
