JOB DETAILS:

Duty Station: Kampala
Remuneration: T4 according to Tamani Scale Contract
Type: Renewable
Contract Period: 3 Years
Reports to: Director of Operations

Role:
Work with manager to design , develop and implement innovative wildlife management techniques for In-Situ and Ex-Situ push for adoption of techniques in conservation industry and lead the creation of effective business models for wildlife management .

Duties
1. Work with research and consulting manager to identify gaps in wildlife management in ex situ and in situ conservation concept for research and proceeding business development
2. Aggressively push for adoption of new ground breaking techniques to target entities in conservation management.
3. Represent the company in key strategic wildlife management platform for local, regional, international platform, work to always influence discussion on these platforms in relation to the company philosophy.
4. Create an effective and influential information platform that influences wildlife policy discussion and industry organizational and governmental levels
5. Design, develop and implement the company’s wildlife management guide that provides systematic direction for the implementation of wildlife management programs, projects and activities
6. Create an effective training model for wildlife management techniques for both company staff industry actors, stakeholders, shareholders and partners
7. Manage intellectual property policy for wildlife management innovation and creative work for unauthorized users.
8. Press management in consultation with research and consultation on issues of wildlife management
9. Ensure all wildlife management programs, projects and activities are inline with local, regional and international standardization protocols
10. Disseminate wildlife management information to public through newsletters articles and professional round tables.

Qualifications
1. Honors Bachelor of science in Zoology, botany, Biology
2. Communication skills and interpersonal skills.
3. Computer skills
4. Minimum experience of 3 years

Bachelor Degree
