About This Job:
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client COSL, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Wireline Logging Engineer A to work in Uganda.

Primary Function：
• Use of logging equipment, calibration inspection of equipment, field data measurement, field interpretation and data delivery, field quality control, and complete the collection and filling of field data files.

Key roles and responsibilities
• Inspect and measure all CONTRACTOR’s EQUIPMENT before and after runs. Inspect the threads of all equipment. Sketch detailed fishing diagram (including all dimensions, precise at 1/16”) and communicate to COMPANY’s SITE REPRESENTATIVE before running in the well.
• Perform calibration & maintenance as per rig log book.
• Ensure post-job well data transmission from WORKSITE to CONTRACTOR’s base/processing centre and/or COMPANY’s base. Ensure real-time (RT) well data transmission from WORKSITE to CONTRACTOR’s base and/or COMPANY’s base as per defined scope of work.
• Provide raw and field processed / interpreted data on paper and digital supports on formats required by COMPANY.
• Prepare and deliver daily activity log featuring.
• Other duties assigned by superior.

Mandatory Requirements
• Possesses a “Bachelor of Sciences” or equivalent, preferably in Geology.
• Familiar with use of logging equipment, calibration inspection of equipment, field data measurement, field interpretation and data delivery, field quality control, and complete the collection and filling of field data files.
• Have a minimum of five (5) years in a wireline logging engineer position.
• Understand COSL management policy and relevant business knowledge.
• Computer and document processing skills required for the job.
• Knowledge and experience of horizontal development drilling.
• Familiar with the relevant management system implemented by this position.
• Familiar with relevant national policies, laws and regulations to be implemented by this position.
