SUPPLY OF LAND FOR THE PROPOSED NAKASERO SUBSTATION

1. The Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited (UEDCL) has allocated funds for Supply of Land for the proposed Nakasero substation.

2. The Entity Invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supply of the above.

3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the open domestic binding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2009, and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address; Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited, Pier 37, Nakasero Road, 4th Floor, UEDCL Tower.

5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested holders on the submission of a written application to the address stated in 7 (a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of US$2,000.00. The method of payment will be by depositing money to the UEDCL bank account and presentation of a banking slip.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address stated in 7 (c) on or before 23rd October 2025 at TidOam. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of: (the value as stated in the bidding document). The bid security must be valid until 30th April 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address stated in 7(a) on 23rd October 2025 at TidOam. There shall be no pre – bid meeting.
