Upgrade of Obsolete programable logic controllers (PLCs) for Spillway Gates – Isimba HPP – UEGCL/SPLS/24-25/20219

Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has received funds to be used for the acquisition of Upgrade of Obsolete programable logic controllers (PLCs) for Spillway Gates – Isimba HPP.

The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open international bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given between: 9.00am and 4.00pm.

The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 10x x 100,000= (Uganda Shlings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be on Uganda Electricity Generation AC No. 903011177319. Stanche Bank Uganda Limited upon which you shall be presented with a bank slip as proof of payment. The document shall be shared by email on receipt of proof of payment.

Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 11:00am of Thursday 23rd October, 2025. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UCX 6,000,000= (Uganda Shlings Six Million Six Hundred Thousand Only). Bid securities must be valid until Friday 24th April, 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 11:10am of Thursday 23rd October, 2025.

There shall be a pre – bid meeting at Isimba HPP. Kayunga on the dates indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice.
