Description
EarthEnable is hiring a Construction Officer to oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in construction management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction projects from start to finish.
- Supervise and manage construction teams and subcontractors.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve any issues or problems that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of project timelines, costs, and materials.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply
- Proven experience in construction management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with project management tools.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards.
- Prior experience managing large-scale construction projects.
