About the Role
We’re looking for a Copywriter who is obsessed with clarity, meaning, and impact.
This is not a role for someone who just wants to “write content.”
This is for someone who wants their words to move people, unlock funding, and tell stories that matter.
You will take complex ideas, raw stories, and half-formed briefs—and turn them into clear, compelling, emotionally resonant narratives across multiple platforms.
You’ll work across a range of nonprofit and social impact clients, shaping how they sound, how they tell their stories, and how the world responds to them.
What You’ll Do
- Write high-impact copy across formats:
- Websites, landing pages, and brand messaging
- Social media content and campaigns
- Email newsletters and donor appeals
- Video scripts and storytelling content
- Proposals, pitch decks, and reports
- Translate complex social impact work into clear, human, and compelling stories
- Develop and maintain distinct brand voices for multiple clients
- Collaborate closely with designers, videographers, and strategists to build integrated campaigns
- Turn insights and strategy into messaging that drives:
- Engagement
- Donations
- Trust
- Conduct research on client missions, audiences, and sectors to ensure depth and accuracy
- Edit and proofread to maintain a high editorial standard across all outputs
- Manage multiple projects and deliver consistently on deadlines
- Contribute to creative direction, campaign ideas, and storytelling approaches
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or communications
- (agency or nonprofit experience is a strong advantage)
- Exceptional writing and storytelling ability — you know how to make people feel and act
- Strong editing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, engaging language
- Curiosity and research ability — you don’t write shallow content
- A genuine passion for social impact, storytelling, and meaningful work
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills — you can receive feedback, iterate quickly, and collaborate effectively
- Familiarity with tools like:
- Google Workspace
- Microsoft Office
- Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign is a plus)
- Social media platforms
