On behalf of our client, a fast-growing company we are seeking to recruit energetic and reliable Credit Officer

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, approving, and monitoring credit facilities while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate loan applications and assess clients’ creditworthiness
• Conduct field visits and verify client information
• Prepare credit appraisal reports and recommendations
• Monitor loan performance and ensure timely repayments
• Follow up on overdue accounts and manage recovery processes
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
• At least 1–2 years of experience in credit or lending (microfinance experience is an added advantage)
• Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
