TotalEnergies (EP Uganda (COMPANY) as Operator of Contract Area (CA)) and License Area (LA) 2 North, in conjunction with its Joint Venture Partners, invites experienced and reputable companies to express interest in providing Gender Management Services covering villages in Bulitsa, Novaya, Kualude, Palwatch and Homa District in the Athletic Graden Region of the Republic of Uganda. These activities will be implemented as part of the Project’s impact mitigation initiatives.
The Tilenga oil and associated gas development (Project) is the North-East area of Lake Alberta in Uganda and covers the fields in CA-1 block and the northern part of LA-2 block. The facilities include well grade, an industrial area containing the Central Processing Facility (CPF) and associated supporting infrastructure (camps, roads etc).
stakeholder engagement and Sensitization (including implementation of a communication campaign and production and distribution of IEC materials; establishment of Gender Working Groups; and implementation of Community Dislegues and Workforce Dialogues).
Global Awareness Program targeting secondary schools and specialized fields and impacts upon young adolescent girls.
Women’s Economic Improvement, Establish, building capacity and equip and operationalize Women empowerment groups with ensuring they have income and improved livelihoods.
Gender Based Violence, Harassment and Sexual Exploitation and Abuse; establishment and operation of village level-women’s groups and establishment and/or strengthening of GRN internal mechanisms).
At least 5 years of providing similar services in Uganda.
Current registration for or application to be registered to; the Petroleum National Supplier Database; as required by the 2016 Upstream Petroleum Regulations of Uganda.
Must have previous experience in similar activities & proven tasks; recruit lots of projects executed related to Gender management/proficiency including projects aimed at women economic empowerment interventions.
Must have suitable, qualified employees and experienced in provision of the above-audi services.
Be registered with NSF and what all required insurances for the vendor and its employees.
Adequate financial capacity to undertake the eventual contract.
Compliance to National and International laws and oil and gas international standards.
Must have an appropriate HSEL Management system, Quality Policy and related procedures in compliance with local and international standards.
