Action Against Hunger currently supports refugees and host communities in Adjumani, Yumbe, Kiryandongo and Kikuube Districts by aligning our support with development plans in relation to nutrition, WASH, Food Security, Livelihoods and health interventions. Action Against Hunger utilizes innovative, evidence-based practices to build community and household resilience and self-reliance, while improving the quality of government services by using sustainable approaches to reduce hunger and malnutrition.

Position: Food Security, Livelihoods and Resilience Coordinator
Report to: Grants and Quality Assurance Coordinator
Level: AAH-9
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Length of Contract: 12 months

Summary of Position
The Food Security, Livelihoods and Resilience (FSLR) Coordinator is responsible for the design and delivery of high quality FSLR projects and programs in Uganda in line with country and sectoral strategies. He/She will provide support and advice to project staff to ensuring adherence to Action Against Hunger and donor guidelines and standards. The FSLR Coordinator is in charge of continuous technical and organizational support, capacity building of FSLR staff, and internal and external representation and coordination. He/she will be expected to lead on the analysis of the humanitarian and food security context in Uganda, undertake regular field visits, lead on program design and proposal writing, and support fundraising, recruitment and procurement where required.
