Avanti Energy Services Limited is seeking a qualified Health & Safety Trainer to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring a safe working environment within the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive HSE training programs.
Responsibilities:
The Health & Safety Trainer will be expected to:
- Develop and deliver specialized HSE training (HIRA, PTW, Confined Space).
- Conduct safety inductions and briefings for staff and contractors.
- Ensure alignment with national laws and international standards (OSHA/ISO).
- Maintain training databases and monitor compliance rates.
- Support site audits and evaluate training effectiveness.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Degree or Diploma in HSE, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of HSE experience within the Oil and Gas industry.
- NEBOSH IGC (or equivalent) and Train the Trainer certification.
- Current First Aid and Fire Fighting certifications.
- OSHA certification and experience with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong presentation skills and hands-on approach to site training.
